On the 9th September 1999 a Thai woman called Jim and a Swiss expat called Lorenzo decided to partner up in establishing the Manalee Farm Products company. Their aim to bring to market natural, healthy food and drinks.
The quality of the Thai diet has been declining with the growing popularity of instant convenience food and junk-food. They have no nutritional value. Manalee Farm Products goal was to encourage and promote a healthy lifestyle. They also wanted to raise awareness among the Thai public of the importance of a nutritious and healthy diet.
Detox Pai
Initially they specialized in running dietary detox programs. This involved fasting apart from a diet of the most nutritious fresh fruit and vegetable juices. They offered fasting programs for anything between three to ten days or more.
Their successful formula benefited many people in many ways. From weight loss to solving many symptomatic health issues such as skin disorders and also pre-diabetic conditions.

In the Manalee fasting programs we used fruits with exceptional properties like Noni fruit, coconut, Graviola fruit and avocado. These were found to be the foremost healthy foods that therefore contributed to restoring people’s well-being and good health.
Avacados
In 2006 Manalee established an avocado plantation in northern Thailand. They imported several varieties of quality avocados such as Hass, Pinkertons, Fuerte and Reads from California.
They have proved to be very popular with the Thais, not only because of their high nutritional value but also because of their delicious taste.
Manalee’s latest project is to cultivate and promote another type of fruit. The soursop or graviola fruit is virtually unknown in Thailand but has incredible health properties.
Graviola
Three years ago Manalee started a new plantation of first class Graviola trees with 24 different varieties of Graviola in Chiang Rai. Already the Durian Thet fruit is well known and greatly loved by many Thai people in Phan district. Hundreds of Thai people started planting Graviola Fruit Trees because of the delicious taste. It also has fabulous anti-oxidant health properties.
Manalee is one of the first companies in Thailand to supply Thai people with natural Graviola or Soursop juice (Called ‘Durian thet’ in Thai).
We are very happy to introduce this unique product to the market. It is not only delicious but also highly nutritious. We are therefore confident that there will be nation-wide interest by Thai consumers for this new and largely unknown juice.

Market Research
During our market research we organized many juice samplings in various locations in Thailand. We found that 90% of the females and 60% of males people who tasted it loved its unique flavor.
Manalee Graviola juice will also be of particular interest to health-conscious people because of its many nutritional properties. Not only is it a very effective antioxidant but also contains a whole range of minerals and vitamins.
Since we started getting feedback from participants of our detox programs we discovered this lack of graviola fruit in the Thai diet. Soon we found out about the amazing properties of graviola fruit such as lowering sugar levels for diabetics and anti-cancerous properties.
Manalee Farm
Manalee recently started our farm in Chiang Rai dedicated to Graviola fruit. We will produce our first major harvests in 2023. In the meantime we started to import this lovely, delicious and nutritious juice from Vietnam. Here it is abundant and already well known for its great health benefits. It is a fruit which is abundant in most Vietnamese local markets.
We believe this will, in the future, also be abundant in every Thai market, supporting the health of everybody who eats it.
So now, here we are in a market where nobody knows this juice. We present this to the Thai people with a beautiful label and a beautiful product which is well researched to suit the Thai pallet.
After our experiences with our avocado distribution network we feel very confident that the Thai public will enjoy our imported Graviola juice until our farm will produce its own in a couple of years, in Thailand.
